The Penny Black Victorian London Pub will host us for an after work meet and greet session and exciting talk by a Corporate VC on Startup Funding in the media industry.

Red Cross Home for the Disabled
Provides residential, respite and day care services for adults and children with multiple disabilities
Provides monthly nutritious food to the skipped-generation, single-elderly and single-parent families hand delivered with love
Gets the elderly and / or the disabled from low-income homes to and from their medical treatments, rehabilitation and day care centers
Helps the injured at national and community events and at East Coast park on weekends and public holidays through ‘First Aider on Wheels’
Community-Led Action for REsilience (CLARE)
Mobilises community volunteers in caring and building resilience of the vulnerable, in our increasingly aging population
Volunteer and Youth Development
Grooms all volunteers including Red Cross Youth to be humanitarian leaders of tomorrow through structured training and community programs

Mediacorp, as an example, is in the midst of re-inventing itself to face and overcome new challenges. At the heart of this transformation is innovation.
Innovation takes many forms. Many have tried. Many have failed. We see our corporate VC activities, and the Mediapreneur incubator program in particular, as a key vehicle to experiment, build partnerships and engage our employees.
We will explore the objectives, successes and challenges of the Mediapreneur.

Head, Strategic Planning
Guillaume Sachet is the Head of Strategic Planning at MediaCorp, where he drives group strategy, corporate development and innovation including mentoring startups in MediaCorp’s Mediapreneur incubator program. Currently, he sits on the board of Cubinet Interactive, a Malaysian digital games publisher, which MediaCorp has a majority stake.
He has 20 years of experience in the media and telecom industry. Prior to joining MediaCorp in May 2012, Guillaume was a Partner with the strategy practice of the consulting firm, Accenture, responsible for Communications, Media and Technology strategy clients across Southeast Asia. Over the years, he has developed deep media and telecom industry knowledge and expertise across the APAC region.
He has spent more than 15 years in Asia, working in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Brunei, Vietnam, Philippines, Korea and China. Having published nearly 20 articles in magazines such as Telecom Asia, Guillaume is a recognized thought-leader in the industry.
Guillaume graduated in International Relations from Sciences Po Paris in 1994 and in Finance from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris in 1992.
